I sit here late at night
And I can be me
No negative influences
I am free!
I may have my problems
But I deal with them myself
Careful of those who judge me
Let them go to hell
It is nice being me
I am happy with who I am
I am worthy of love and affection
I wish the world would understand
The world may not tolerate me
But I know who I am
I am full of love and happiness
Please let the world understand
I may have mental issues
At least that much is true
But how would you feel
If you were me and I was you?
So show me some decency
Show me some respect
Life is very short
That you should not forget!
