Maintenance

I often wake around 3am and can’t get back to sleep as things pop into my my overactive mind just like the word maintenance from a recent reply to Lex’s blog

We maintain or houses and cars but often neglect our bodies, so I thought of a few  tips that may help a little.

Plumbing department: Make sure you drink enough water throughout the day and go to the loo when required - don’t put it off until later, this is really important.

Roof: Don’t mess with it too much, wear a hat if you can, it gives protection from the sun and the head is a huge source of heat loss in the winter.

Double glazing: Look after your eyes - get them checked regularly and it’s ok to let them tears flow when needed. It can help to wash sorrow away a little.

Foundations:  The feet are very important, look after them as they support you. Wear good shoes and go barefoot on grass and on the beach where possible, great for the mind

The garden or outside: Clothes - get the nicest you can afford as nice clothes can make you feel good about yourself. Wash the outside regularly with nice hot water and finish off with a cold rinse. (not easy at first but definitely helps with mood)

Last but by no means least, eat the best food you can afford, avoid over processed foods at all costs.

If you want to add to the  list please do.
