Slip inside the eye of your mind

This week I noticed my energy levels took a nose-dive and, because I must have been more rested to notice this, I took a look at the reason for the dip.

Sadly (and as much as I love them) it was because my children each asked me to talk something through with them. My energy dipped after each encounter but to be trusted is still a privilege. It’s not a complaint, just awareness.

Awareness of how we respond to the time we spend with others is, for me, now a vital tool in trying to keep good health. I recognise that I need to allow much more time to recover my mood/energy than I ever thought.

I like spending time with people and I am an introvert, therefore spending time with people can quickly deplete me.

Some people are extroverts and spending time with people energises them.

Does this have any bearing on your own mood and might that awareness help you manage things too?
