I have just taken the Moodscope test which indicates rather a fall in my score. Annoyingly, but obvious to me, this is the result of neglect of calorie consumption and poor dietary habits.
Nursing homes like to provide nutritious diets but also to treat their clientele with sweets and pastries perhaps too easily picked up everyday. Lol, very nice but all too easily tempting.
I enclose below what I have written to comment on my today's score.
"I am increasingly aware that my dietary habits are poor. I am eating too much as sugar and fats. I have not fully control of what I consume as I live in a nursing home and the meals are very nice but too sugar laden… I am not being consciously careful enough to pick better choices where they are available, and not being sensible about portion sizes.
I should I think:
1: Seek advice, or support from the staff.
2: Eat slower.
3: Eat more selectively.
4: Cut direct and indirect sugars out.
5: Eat fresh fruits and vegetables.
6: Enjoy being alive.
7: Improve my work/life balance."
This is probably easier to say than to do!
I would welcome thoughts from this wise forum. It is alarming that certain garments are just a little too tight at the seams; and tho "new" ones might be procured I would really prefer to shrink to fit my existing wardrobe which I am quite fond of.
Happy (I think) to read your comments.:--))
Thank you.
