Would you rather have a 5 minute conversation with your past or future self?

The students I work with at the Radio Station love to add a “Would you rather challenge” to each of their shows. It’s becoming a firm favourite.

Of course, it takes a bit of thought, or some research. Here are some of the best…

· Would you rather have perfect pitch or a photographic memory?

· Would you rather be able to speak every language on Earth, or be telepathic?

· Would you rather be a famous sports personality or a famous artist?

· Would you rather have very weird dreams every night, or never dream again?

Here’s the big one:

Would you rather be yourself with mental health problems, or somebody else with great mental health?

If your answer is that you’d rather be yourself even with the challenges you face with mental health, today is the day to appreciate ‘you’.

We all have faults. We all have problems. But when you reduce everything down to the big question: “Would you rather be someone else?” What is your heart’s response?

If you’d rather be ‘you’ would you accept a challenge today?
